Yes. Within an impulse usually one of the actionary waves is extended, most commonly the third.
Sometimes two of the actionary waves are extended, one extension must be the third, the other would be the first or fifth.

This is a general question… can you have more than 1 impulse wave extended within the same cycle? For example, wave 3 & 5 extended in the same cycle.
